Roxy -

Super fit and lean, Roxy was the athlete of the team. She was a very loyal and loving dog with a fun and cheeky side too.

​

She loved to run and retrieve with super fast speed and from the start preferred live game to dummies. Dummies were fine when it suited her and when it didn't I would be presented with all types of odd retrieves.... a dead fish, a banana skin, a plastic cup to name but a few!!

​

Taking strong runners on shoot day was her forte as was hunting in all types of cover for her prize.

Roxy absolutely lived for picking up in the winter.

She was steady but super driven, had a beautiful delivery, had unmatched hunting skills and was my go to dog for shoot days. 

Not forgetting her fabulous recall and natural heelwork which made her a joy to be with.

We entered Working Tests together and did well 

​sometimes and had a laugh all the time. 

​

When she retired from work at age 13 she spent many hours with my Mum, keeping her company and going for lovely leisurely walks around the village.

​

She will always be loved and always missed. She was my other dog of a lifetime and I am totally honoured and privileged to share part of my life with her xx
