Mya 

Mya was my first Labrador and what an amazing dog she was. She was fast moving, fast thinking, loyal, driven and full of life and character.

She was born to work and loved to hunt and retrieve all day long. No cover was too much for my Mya and she tackled every retrieve with style and pace and was pretty much fearless.

​

Her stop whistle and handing at any distance was a dream and we were a real partnership .... once I got my act together as a handler that was! She always knew what she was doing!!

​

She loved to spend the day with me both on walks and in training, We spent long summers entering Working Tests together and fabulous winters picking up and sometimes beating on local shoots.

​

She was loving and loyal and her tail was always wagging.

​

I had a beautiful litter of puppies from Mya in 2012 and I kept two, namely River and Star.

​

At the fabulous age of 12 Mya retired from competitions and spent her final years loving life on walks and still going picking up until she was 13 years old.

​

Mya was my dog of a lifetime and I am so lucky to have been granted the absolute honour of being her owner. She taught me so much and I owe everything to her. My dog in a million xxxxxxx
