Advanced Training

Our Advanced training sessions take place at various locations in Hertfordshire.

We run courses, workshops and offer 121 training. We cover all aspects of gundog work and train dogs and handlers for the shooting field including beating, picking up and peg dogs. We also train for all levels of Working Tests from puppy to open level and train for Field Trials for novice level retrievers. Advanced sessions are also suitable for obedient pet gundogs who are doing gundog training for fun and enjoyment. Dogs should walk at heel on and off lead, have dependable re call, stop on the whistle at distance, take hand signals and be steady to thrown dummies, other dogs and shot. To join dogs must have had a 121 with a Riverlily trainer prior to booking or have completed a gundog training course with us. We have access to all types of ground and terrain and can really offer fabulous opportunites for training. Book a session today!
