Come and join us for Puppy, Novice and Advanced stand alone sessions that focus on specific training themes and scenarios.

All our workshops are split into different levels.
This is to ensure you and your dog are training with similar standard dogs.
Level 1 - First timers on the workshop / Novice
Level 2 - Novice / Novice Master
Level 3 - Riverlily Working Dogs
Please note you can book levels 2 and 3 as many times as you like as each time the sessions will run on different ground.
This will enable you to practice your skills in all environments.

We will cover basic training exercises and set up retrieving and hunting scenarios where your dog will be exposed to temptation.

Come and join us for a fabulous day training at Riverlily with Jamie Bettinson from Tidy Training.
Jamie is an A Panel Judge who has bred and trained many FTCH's. He regularly competes for Wales in international competitions and last year was 2nd in the IGL Championships.
The day is for dogs who have either won a ND/NH KC Working Test or compete at good Novice or Open level.
All dogs must be steady to shot and be able to stop and handle at a reasonable distance.
As this session will be super popular we have decided that to be fair to everyone we will take bookings and draw 8 names out of a hat.

This workshop is aimed at dogs and handlers who would like to experience what is like to go on a shoot.
We will set up drives and have beaters and guns and set up situations you are likely to encounter on a shoot day.
This session is open to both those new to the shooting field and to those with some experience.
Please note we will be using starter pistols and all dogs must have good recall and a delivery.

** Spaniel Workshop with Natalie Cannon from Craiwarn Gundogs **
Thursday 8th September - 9.30 - 11.30
We have the fabulous Natalie Cannon from Craiwarn Gundogs coming to us to run a session for novice Spaniels.
Natalie has represented England at the Gamefair Internationals, and is also proud winner of the Kennel club working test at Chatsworth House.
Natalie was also honoured to be named the countryman's weekly Gundog trainer of the year 2016.
In 2014 She made up her first FTCH with her little cocker TINK . She has run in four Championships now, earning guns choice, a Diploma of Merit and a 2nd in the Championship...
Most importantly she is top company
The session will take place in Herts near Wheathampstead and is open to all novice level Spaniels who have reliable recall and have heard shot.
Places will first be offered to those training with Riverlily at the moment
If we are oversubscribed we will draw names from the hat
